The first thing you notice when you power up the tool is the soft start, It spools up like a jet engine. The tool itself is powered by the third generation M12™ REDLITHIUM™ battery, overall we were impressed with its run time, we achieved over 15 minutes while cutting and sanding. This tool screams quality, we were very impressed by the entire build quality of the tool. The on off switch on top is surrounded by an over molded rubber grip.
